The design of the electrical and mechanical work system in any building is part of the integrated design process in the building, which begins with the architectural designs, and then proceeds with works such as construction works (foundations, concrete structure and walls), sanitary works (sewage, water pumps, etc.) and mechanical works (air conditioning, ventilation, elevators, fire network, etc.), light current works (telephones, central television, automatic calling system, etc.), internal and external finishing works, and others.

Most of these works require electrical and mechanical feeding with certain requirements, and therefore electrical and mechanical works are the most interfering with other works, and hence the importance of studying electrical and mechanical designs very carefully because they will affect all other works in the building
